What to expect at a glance
BEACH SPLENDOUR
Day 1: Kilimanjaro Airport – Arusha
You will be met by a designated driver at Kilimanjaro Airport arrivals hall and transferred to your hotel in time for dinner.
Overnight: Arusha
Day 2 & 3: Tarangire
Depart after breakfast for a scenic drive through Maasai grassland to what is our fourth largest National Park. Check-in at your lodge, located inside the park, then after lunch enjoy an afternoon wildlife drive in the park; home to magnificent elephants and grand Baobab trees. Return to your lodge for dinner.
Begin the next day with an early morning wildlife drive, returning for breakfast. Take time to relax by the pool and enjoy lunch at the lodge. Late afternoon/early evening welcomes another opportunity to see more during your second wildlife drive.

Day 4: Ngorongoro
Leave for Ngorongoro, driving through rural highland scenery and stopping at the crater rim for your first magnificent glimpse of the famous Ngorongoro Crater; a UNESCO World Heritage site. Descend into the caldera with its rich abundance of wildlife; the forested slopes of the crater, its lakes and swampy grassland are reputed to host some 30,000 animals and varied birdlife including migratory flamingoes.

Day 5: Ndutu
Departing for Ndutu via the Maasai village and the famed Olduvai Gorge, an archaeological site often referred to as 'the cradle of mankind', with wildlife viewing en route to your camp.

Day 6: Ndutu
Either with packed lunches at the ready or with the option of returning to the camp for lunch, a full day of wildlife viewing awaits (possibly among calving animals in February). Sundowner afterwards at the camp before dinner.

Day 7: Serengeti
After breakfast, leave for central Serengeti National Park, via Naabi Gate, making this the beginning of your exploration of the Serengeti plains.
Overnight: Serengeti.
Day 8: Serengeti
Early breakfast followed by full day game viewing on the vast Serengeti plains. Picnic lunch, possibly by a hippo pool.
When it comes to sheer volume and variety of game, the Serengeti is difficult to surpass. Host to the wildebeest migration, its landscapes speaks to nature lovers of birdlife, small game, unique insects and vegetation. It will aslo be your best chance to see ‘The Big Cats’ such as leopard, lion and cheetah. Optional morning Balloon ride is also available.

Day 9 - 12: Zanzibar
The day begins with your scenic flight to Arusha airport from where you will catch your flight to Zanzibar. You will be met and taken to your beachfront hotel. The following days are yours to either relax on the beach, water skii, tour nearby islands, snorkel, go deep sea fishing or scuba dive. There are several dedicated tour offices with a wide selection of tours to choose from, including the Spice Island excursion, or a visit to Jozani Forest to see the Red Colobus monkeys.

Day 13: Zanzibar Stone Town
After breakfast, leave for Stone Town to enjoy its museums and historical monuments and the unique architecture, not leaving out a little souvenir shopping in the unusual narrow streets which funnel the cool beach breezes in a similar fashion as a honeycomb.
Overnight: Zanzibar Serena Inn (BB)
Day 14: Stone Town – Airport
Spend your last day at your leisure before transferring to the international airport for your flight home.
